Welcome to the Canadian World Forces website. We are a group of individuals actively involved in playing paintball with Real Action Markers. We enjoy games that are played with a military simulation aspect. You won't see many of us on standard fields because we use .43 caliber markers instead of the regular .68 calibers. We were created in the beginning of 2008 and are trying to grow the sport in Canada. If you want to learn more head over to the markers page to see what type of paintball markers we use or join up on the forum.

Happy New Year! There is some new changes to the website that I just finished working on. The forum tab has been changed to a contact tab. I decided to get rid of the forum because
it was not being used very often and I felt that it was a waist of time for me to continue operating it. If you wish to get in contact with the CWF my email is now on the contact page and if
you wish to sign up for an event there is a link to my email with each event that you can sign up through.
Cheers,

What a year! This was the best year the CWF has had since it started back in 2008. Ottawa hosted 5 events this year and is expecting to host double that number in the new year. The season for Ottawa ended on October
29 because the cold caused a large amount of problems with markers, paint and co2. There is a lot planned for the 2012 year with improvements to our private field, markers and
equipment. I hope over the winter I will be able to acquire new items which will allow for a more enjoyable events. One of the most interesting plans is to run a night game which I believe will be
quite the experience. So I am really looking forward to the new year.
The other day I decided that the name would be changed from CTMF back to CWF. I made this decision without opinions from other members because I plan to open my own business in regards to RAM Markers and
the name of this website would be the name of my business. CTMF was not a name I ever considered to be used as a business name because I find it to be long and confusing. Since the name changed the
website has been updated, which is for the better. I find this website looks more professional and is pleasing to the eye.
All pictures that were taken this year from the events held in Ottawa have been put up on the website. So head on over to the photos page and enjoy. Unfortunately for the majority of the winter this
website will remain quiet because there is no events being held until spring. Therefore I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
See you next year,

This has to be the quietest website in the world! ;) Sorry for not updating but there hasn’t been really anything to post. But there are a couple things to announce today. First off I have been in contact with Section 8 again and we have discussed a new way of importing markers into Canada using the new changes to legislation regarding airsoft markers, thanks goes out to DoubleTap for bring the changes to our attention. It will take several months before we know if they can be imported again, and it will only be the rifles, but are hopes are high.
Just outside of Ottawa the CTMF has been given the use of a piece of land to play paintball. Currently the property is for private use only and will remain private for the remainder of its use with the CTMF. But from the use of the property I am hoping to gain experience in running a field so that I can open a public RAM field sometime next year.
Looking for o-rings and small replacement parts for your RAM Markers? Well stayed tuned to the CTMF forum. I am hoping to open a small store that can supply small replacements parts for RAM Markers. So if you live in Canada and are looking for some parts, check the forum before you go looking outside of the country.
Stay tuned to the photo gallery for photos from the first game at the Ottawa field. It may take a while for those to show up because I have to teach myself the code again.

On March 20, 2010 the C.T.M.F. turned 2 years old. It has been a long and slow journey and we still have a long way to go, but the C.T.M.F. is still here and is still promoting the RAM community in Canada.

Well, it has been awhile since I have posted any news, but that is because there is not really any news to post about. It has been pretty slow for the RAM community this year. So I would just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hopefully next year will be a lot better for the RAM community.

The forum, as you may have noticed, has been shut down. I have sent a request for the forum to be reactivated and I am hoping that in the next couple of days it will reappear. If it does not reappear in 2 days, a temporary forum will be set up.

Well it has been a while since there has been any news to announce, but since tomorrow is Canada Day, I want to wish all Canadians a Happy Canada Day! Hope everybody has a ton of fun celebrating Canada Day and drinking responsibly.
In other news, it is written on the Section 8 website's main page that they have Walther P99s in stock, so if you are looking for a RAM P99 send Section 8 an email and they will put you on the list to receive one. To find the Section 8 website visit the Dealers/Teams page.

Well happy New Years everybody, even though it is overdue for a month. Yesterday, as many have probably noticed, the main forum has gone down and I have no idea at which time it will reappear. So until further notice a temporary forum has been set up in its place. I cannot even contact the forum service providers because their site is down as well. Secondly, as most of us know, spring is just around the corner and many players are starting to dust of the markers that have been sitting around the house. Hope all players can get out to the fields as soon as possible and begin the game that we all enjoy.
There is no more news on Section 8 and we are still in the process of waiting to see if new markers will be able to make it into the country. It has recently been reported that the Section 8 site will be updated shortly and we will be able to see, on the new site, when new markers have made their way to the stores.

As you can see the C.T.M.F. site is undergoing some work and all pages are being updated. If you find any problems with viewing the site or certain pages please contact me (Domen) on the forum. Since recently there has been a larger problem with accessing the forum at a decent speed, a new forum has been created. All members are asked to check out the new forum and vote on which one will better suit our needs, you can find the link to the new forum in the General Discussion section. In other news regarding the forum, the ranking system was changed from number of days active to amount of posts. This was done because of the issue with admin having to update the member’s ranks manually, which was too much work.
The final word has come down that the CBSA did halt the Section 8 shipment and that no further shipments will be entering into Canada through Section 8 without first dealing with CBSA and their problems with RAM markers. So this means that RAM marker availability is extremely low and that new members or anyone looking into RAM will have a hard time getting a marker.

Finally Advanced Recon Combat Operations - York Tactical Element has been created. It is a squad located in and around the GTA with about 4 full-time members. Anyone near or in Toronto looking for a group of RAM players then you have found the right place. The command and field craft structures have not been set-up yet but they are on the way. Here in Canada we all know winter is around the corner, so paintball for me and a lot of people gets shut down, so get ready to pack up. The last piece of news is a problem with CBSA, recently Section 8 has been trying to get the makers into the country and CBSA has been blocking the shipment. So we will see how this situation turns out and I’ll update later on if the shipment made it through or not.

Recently we have seen a larger ban of .43 caliber markers nationwide. Mostly all websites that had the markers advertised have removed the products from their pages. Recently I have not been in contact with Section 8, so I have no idea what they’re planning on doing but I’ll try and get some information. Also all Toronto members who are wishing to participate in the squad report to the forums. Right now we are planning on voting on the name and then the discussion will expand into BDUs, games, etc. So any member who has not been on forum please login and get involved.

Well summer is just around the corner and I’m pretty excited. Today the new ranking system was implemented on the forum. All members have been given a rank that matches with their date of joining the C.T.M.F. forum. Promotions will come later and ranks will usually be update every 1-2 weeks. If you find your rank does not match the days you have been active on the forum contact me(Domen) or DoubleTap, we will look into it and change it if necessary. Last points are the forum is growing and I hope to see a squad form in Toronto, and that there are several new photos in the Ontario and British Columbia divisional photo galleries.
Happy Summer,

Today the new name came into effect. As you can see the name of the club has changed from C.W.F to C.T.M.F. (Canadian Tactical Milsim Forces/ Les Forces Milsim Tactique du Canada). Members on the forum voted the new name in, suggestions were presented to the whole club and then voted upon, in which C.T.M.F. was chosen. The C.T.M.F. has recently seen new members showing up and events with .43 caliber markers beginning to be played, which is excellent news for the club. For the last couple of weeks members have been discussing the use of ranks on the forum, today the discussion still continues but it seems to be coming to a close. So we hope that in a couple weeks the ranks will be implemented on the forum.
Happy paintballing,

So it has been awhile since I lasted posted, but since then a lot of stuff has been going on. Just recently the name of the C.W.F. has been put up for debate and tonight a poll will be put up to figure out what will be the new name. The poll will run until next Friday at which time the name will change all across the site and the forum. Now the site URL will stay as canwf.ca because the URL is a one year contract and I cannot change it. I will try to make a sub-domain, which will include the new name, but I am making no promises. So we ask everyone who is part of the C.W.F. to vote on the new names which have been presented. Also Ak-mag has presented the idea of ranks for the forum, the voting is 5-0 for yes, so I think in the coming weeks we will see ranks on the forum.
So stay tuned!

Well is has been a good several days, the site in general has grown, the members map and the forum especially. As you can see the markers page has most of the markers on it and the Dealers page has a new contact, but I am still waiting for a couple more Canadian dealers to contact me so I can get them up there. So well the snow is finally melting up here in the north and paintball season is just around the corner. So we hope to see a couple events involving CWF members. Now a debate and poll has been set up on the forum regard the name Canadian World Forces, to see if we should keep it or change it so head on over there and put in your two cents.
Best Regards,

So we just got the website up today as it took awhile for the hosting company to get everything up and working. In the coming days I am going to be updating the website and adding bits and pieces here and there. Any suggestions you have for the site just post in the Forum under General Discussion, there is already a thread about the website so post it there. Also since the website and forum is fairly new it seems like a ghost town, but we hope that it will grow as people find out about this site. If you own a Real Action Marker or Real Action Paintball Marker and you live in Canada head over to the forum and sign up and post in the proper division, as we would like to find more players to begin games in areas with a large concentration of RAM players.
Other than that Happy Easter!
